Enrique José Laboy Vázquez es estudiante del Departamento de Historia de la Universidad de Puerto Rico, Recinto de Río Piedras. Es expresidente y mentor honorario de la Asociación de Estudiantes Historiadores (AEH). Fue becario de investigación de la Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship (2023-2025) y participante del Digital Humanities Scholars in Residence de la UPR Caribe Digital (2024-2025) y del History Summer Institute de la Universidad de Columbia en Nueva York (2025). Coordina la edición de la revista Cuadernos de Investigación Histórica del Departamento de Historia de la Universidad de Puerto Rico, Río Piedras. Cuenta con múltiples publicaciones que incluyen tanto reseñas de libros como artículos revisados por pares. Entre sus intereses de investigación están la historia intelectual, la historia conceptual y la temporalidad en el Caribe, la izquierda, la memoria y lo político.
Enrique José Laboy Vázquez is a student in the Department of History at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus. He is a former president and honorary mentor of the Association of History Students (AEH). He was a research fellow of the Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship (2023–2025) and a participant in the Digital Humanities Scholars in Residence program at UPR Caribe Digital (2024–2025) and the History Summer Institute at Columbia University in New York (2025). He coordinates the editing of Cuadernos de Investigación Histórica, the journal of the Department of History at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras. He has multiple publications, including both book reviews and peer-reviewed articles. His research interests include intellectual history, conceptual history and temporality in the Caribbean, the left, memory, and the political.
